6	Uses	i)                    It is given to treat acrodermatitis enteropathica which is associated by zinc deficiency . ii)                   Externally it is used as an astringent in lotions and eye-drops . iii)                 Internally it is used as an emetic . iv)                 It is an ingredient of an ophthalmic solution known as sulphate ophthalmic solution .
