Uses
i)                    It is used  in the treatment of magnesium deficiency .
ii)                   It acts as a saline laxative
iii)                 It acts as anticonvulsant .
iv)                 It is used to control seizures .
v)                  Externally it is used for local inflammation and infected wounds .
vi)                 It is used in the treatment of cholecystitis
vii)               It is used in the treatment of sea-sickness , hypertension , and to lower intercranial pressure , tetanus spasm .
viii)              It I used as wet dressing for carbuncles and boils .

Side Effect
Excessive use of magnesium sulphate cuses hyper magnesaemia , gastrointestinal irritation and watery diarrhea .

It is stored in well closed container .
