6	Uses	i)                    Dilute ammonia solution used as reflex stimulants , rubefacients and counter irritants and to stimulate insect stings . ii)                   Strong ammonia solution used in the preparation of aromatic ammonia spirit and ammonical silver nitrate solution . iii)                 Dilute ammonia solution used as reflux stimulant in fainted persons . iv)                 It is inhaled from smelling salt to cause vasoconstriction in the nose , reducing flow of nasal secretion in cold . v)                  It is also used in the manufacture of nitric acid , sodium bicarbonate ,ammonia salts of acids .
7	Side Effect	Ingestion of strong solutions of ammonia causes severe pain in the mouth an d gastrointestinal tract with cough , vomiting and shock .
8	Storage	It is stored in airtight container at a temperature not exceeding 20*c .
