6	Uses	i)                    It have mild astringent and antimicrobial property . ii)                   It is used in dusting powders and ointments as a soothing and protective agent in the treatment of skin inflammation . iii)                 It is used either alone or with other powders or in the form of creams . iv)                 It is also added as a lubricant to the granules in tablet making .
7	Side Effect	Inhalation of zinc-stearate caused fatal pneumonitis ( pulmonary inflammation ) especially in children .
8	Storage	It is stored in well closed container
