Uses
i)                    It is formerly used topically as an anti-infective agent in the treatment of impetigo ( infectious skin disease ) and other staphylococcal skin infection .
ii)                   It also used in dermatomycoses , in psoriasis , and in crab infestations

Adverse effect of ammoniated mercury therapy include allergic reaction , acrodyniaand mercury poisoning .

It is stored in well closed container and  protected from light .
