Uses
i)                    It is used as an adjunct to diet and oral hygiene for the prevention of dental carries .
ii)                   It may render the enamel of the teeth more resistant to acid
iii)                 It promotes remineralization or reduce microbial acid production .
iv)                 It is used as insecticide

Side Effect
Adverse effect include nausea , vomiting , abdominal distress , diarrhea , stupor , weakness , tremors , convultions , collapse , dyspnea , respiratory and cardiac failure and death .

Storage
Sodium fluoride and its preparation should be stored in air tight container and plastic container should be used for oral solution
